SUMMARY
Stem scandent, internodes up to 3 cm long. LEAVES: Petioles 23 cm long, 2 cm wide, base semicylindric, flattened towards the apex, margins narrowly winged; Blade subcoriaceous, hastate, posterior lobes 13 cm long, oblong, obtuse, diverging almost horizontally, separated by a very broad, very obtuse sinus; Anterior lobe 15 cm long, 7 cm wide, acuminate, narrowed towards the base. INFLORESCENCE: Spathe green, 6 cm long, expanded to 2 cm wide; Spadix slender, cylindric, 5.5-6 cm long, 5 mm wide, stipitate for 3.5 mm; Female zone 1.5 cm long, male zone 4 cm long; Pistils short, 5-locular, locules 1-ovulate; Male flowers tetrandrous.
