| Abstract: | Since it was described by Adolf Engler in 1880, the exact identity of the Brazilian Taccarum warmingii has remained obscure. Recently, the type material of this species was examined and a new collection was made in Espirito Santo state, Eastern Brazil. Taccarum warmingii is described in details and illustrated, also based on living specimens now in cultivation. A revised key for the genus Taccarum is also presented. |
