Anthurium pohlianum (Araceae)
Stem small, abbreviated. LEAVES: Petiole semiterete, adaxially broadly canaliculate, with short geniculum, 6 - 8 times shorter than blade, ca. 3 cm long. Blade subcoriaceous, on both sides, but especially abaxially, densely black-punctate, elongate-oblong, base acute, apex subobtuse, shortly apiculate, 18 - 20 cm long, 5 - 6 cm wide at the middle, primary lateral veins on both sides many, ascending, 5 - 6 mm distant, joined into a collective vein 6 mm distant from the margin. INFLORESCENCE: Peduncle half as long as blade, 7 - 10 cm long. Spathe oblong-ovate, decurrent, 1.5 - 1.7 cm long, ca. 1.3 cm wide, acumen 2 mm long. Spadix shortly stipitate, in flower ca. 2.5 cm long, 5 mm thick, in fruit up to 4 cm long and over 1 cm thick, cylindric. Tepals ca. 1.5 mm long and wide, linear. Style conic. INFRUCTESCENCE: Berries 5 - 7 mm long, 4 - 5 mm thick, ovoid.
