SUMMARY
Stem shortened. LEAVES: Petiole subterete, deeply sulcate adaxially, 3-3.5 dm [30 - 35 cm] long; geniculum 1.5-2 cm long; blade subcoriaceous, deep green above, paler below, cordate-oblong, narrowed gradually from the middle toward the apex, cuspidate-acuminate lengthwise, 3-4 dm [30 - 40 cm] long, scarcely 2 dm [20 cm] wide, posterior lobes 7-9 cm long, 6-7 cm wide, semi-ovate, separated by a narrow parabolic sinus, basal veins 5 pairs, merging with interlobar veins in the middle margin, the innermost ascending, joined with small midribs 4-6 (joined together with 4-6 small midribs?) into a collective vein 0.5-1 cm from the margin. INFLORESCENCE: Peduncles 4-5 dm [40 - 50 cm] long, slender; spathe broadly lanceolate, amplexicaul at the base, somewhat lengthily (or moderately?) and very slender, cuspidate, 7-8 cm long, 1.5-2 cm wide at the base; spadix stipitate 4-5 mm, 1-1.5 dm [10 - 15 cm] long, gradually tapered; Anthers white.
