SUMMARY
Stem scandent, internodes strongly elongate, ca. 11 cm long, 1 cm thick. Cataphylls 7 - 8 cm long, persistent for some time. LEAVES: Petiole shortly sheathed, slightly canaliculate, ca. 4 times shorter than blade, 4 - 4.5 cm long, geniculum short. Blade coriaceous, ovate-oblong, obtuse, shortly acuminate, 16 - 18 cm long, 8 - 9 cm wide; primary lateral veins patent, ca. 1.2 - 1.5 cm apart, joined into a collective vein 5 - 6 mm from margin, the lowermost 1 - 2 primaries running out into the margin. INFLORESCENCE: Peduncle ca. 2 times longer than petiole. Spathe lanceolate, shortly acuminate, 3 cm long, 1 cm wide. Spadix shortly stipitate, cylindric, obtuse, 3 cm long, 1 cm thick.
