SUMMARY
Stem abbreviated. LEAVES: Petiole terete, green, almost as long as blade, 25 - 40 cm long. Leaf blade dull green, paler below, oblong-cordate-ovate, with a 2 cm long cusp, ca. 25 - 37 cm long, 12 - 17.5 cm wide, posterior lobes ca. 5 times shorter than anterior lobe, retrorse, obtuse, separated by a narrowly parabolic sinus, basal primary lateral veins of the porsterio lobes 3 on each side, very shortly fused together at the extreme base, curved and running into the margin, interlobar vein and the 4 - 8 primary lateral veins of the midrib a little more slender, curved and irregularly joined into a collective vein 2 - 3 mm distant from the margin. INFLORESCENCE: Peduncle 22 - 30 cm long. Spathe oblong, white or greenish, with a cusp ca. 3.5 cm long, over 10 cm long, 2.5 cm wide basally, decurrent at the base. Spadix with a stipe 5 mm long, 5 - 7.5 cm long, 8 mm thick, purplish. Tepals small.
