SUMMARY
Climbing. LEAVES: Petiole terete, ca. 60 cm long, 7 - 8 mm thick. Blade coriaceous, oblong-cordate, ca. 40 cm long, 22 cm wide, anterior lobe acuminate, narrowing by a slightly extrorsely arcuate line, posterior lobes 11 cm long, and wide, semi-ovate, separated by a narrow sinus, retrorse or slightly introrse, primary lateral veins arising from the midrib at 60°, the ca. 7 - 8 veins of the midrib slender, remote from one another and joining with one basal vein into a slender collective vein 7 - 8 mm distant from margin; basal veins of the posterior lobes ca. 6, patent and retrorse within the lobes, near the base strongly arcuate and then turning upwards, not joined into basal ribs. INFLORESCENCE: Peduncle ca. 30 cm long. Spathe 7 cm long, 1.5 cm wide, broadly linear, long- acuminate with 1 cm long acumen. Spadix sessile, 10 cm long, 6 mm thick, slightly narrowing upwards. Tepals 2 mm long, 1 mm wide. Stamens linear up to the middle, below the anthers then dilated into an ovate part. Pistil oblong-conoid.
