Anthurium tatei (Araceae)
Herb, probably erect. LEAVES: Petiole unknown. Leaf blade thickly coriaceous, robustly veined (when dried), broadly ovate in outline, 52 cm long and ca. 44 cm wide, deeply cordate the base, with imbricate (?) posterior lobes, acuminate at the apex; posterior lobes semi-circular, 18 cm long, 22.5 cm wide, separated by an elliptic or lens-shaped sinus, primary lateral veins ca. 6 on each side, retrocurved, and disappearing into the margin upwards, near the base joining into a short basal rib (shortly denuded in the sinus?); anterior lobe with 4 - 5 primary lateral veins on each side, arcuately ascending and disappearing into the margin except for the uppermost ones which run to the apex, finer veins distinctly reticulate. INFLORESCENCE unknown.
