SUMMARY
LEAVES: Petiole a little shorter than blade, slightly terete, sheathed to 3 cm of length, 2 dm [20 cm] long; geniculum 1 cm long; blades coriaceous, sparsely dark glandular-dotted below, oblong, acute on both sides, long-narrowed toward the apex, about 2.5 dm [25 cm] long, 7 cm wide; primary lateral veins about 8-9 pairs, joined in a robust [or strong] collective vein departing from the midrib above the base; secondary lateral veins (nervis) and primary lateral veins (venis> distinctly prominent beneath. INFLORESCENCE: Peduncle overtopping leaf, 3.5 dm [35 cm] long; spathe linear-lanceolate, 5 cm long, 1 cm wide; spadix longer than spathe.
