SUMMARY
Terrestrial; Stem. LEAVES: Petiole a little longer than blade; geniculum 2-2.5 cm long; blades rigid, green on both sides, broadly cordate-ovate, 2 or 3 times longer than wide, anterior lobe 4 times longer than basal lobes; sinus acute, acuminate adaxially, 4.5 dm [45 cm] long, 3 dm [20 cm] wide; basal veins 5 pairs, arcuate, merging in the margin, interlobar veins 2, upper-most pairs of basal veins free, primary lateral veins 18-20 [9-10 pairs?] ascending somewhat parallel and joined in a collective vein, the latter arising from 2nd basal veins 4-5 mm from the margin. INFLORESCENCE: Peduncle slender, shorter than petiole; spathe subcoriaceous, purplish, narrowly lanceolate, subulate, 11-12 cm long, 11-12 mm wide; spadix sessile, purplish, subcylindrical, 3 cm long, 5 mm diam.; tepals almost equally long and wide, minutely (or finely) dotted.
