SUMMARY
Stem erect. LEAVES: Petiole terete, twice as long as blade, 20 - 30 cm long, geniculum slightly canaliculate. Leaf blade coriaceous, ca. 23 cm long, 18 cm wide basally, adaxially scaberulous, deep green and silkily glossy, cordate, posterior lobes semi-ovate, about one third as long as anterior lobe, 6 - 7 cm long, 8 - 9 cm wide, separated by an obtuse sinus, anterior lobe semi-ovate with a slightly undulate margin, primary lateral veins of the midrib 6 - 7 on each side, 2 - 2.5 cm distant from each other, curving and patent and with the interlobe vein curving upwards near the margin and running into it, basal veins 4 on each side, joined into a short basal rib, one horizontally patent, the rest reversed, all veins prominent abaxially.
