SUMMARY
Stem abbreviated. Cataphylls long, surrounding the base of the petiole. LEAVES: Petiole a little longer than the blade, 60 - 80 cm long, geniculum long. Blade elongate-oblong-cordate, acuminate, 60 - 70 cm long, 25 - 27.5 cm wide basally, posterior lobes oblong, obtuse, 3.5 - 4 times shorter than anterior lobe, 15 - 17 cm long, 6 - 8 cm wide, separated by acute, oblong sinus, basal primary lateral veins 4 - 5 on each side, of which 3 - 4 are joined into basal ribs somewhat long-denuded in the sinus, primary lateral veins of the midrib ca. 15 - 18 on each side, patent, all joined into a collective vein very close to the margin.
