SUMMARY
LEAVES:Petiole 1/2- 1 1/2 x as long as the leaf-blade, 3-35 cm long. Leaf-blade flat or undulate, lanceolate, ovate-elliptic or oblong-elliptic; obtuse, acute or acuminate, sometimes apiculate, glabrous or puberulous below, 6-21 cm long, 1.5-9 cm broad, 2 to over 4 x as long as broad, base cordate, truncate or narrowly cuneate. Widest about or below the middle. Many prominent lateral nerves, with 2-6 less prominent lateral nerves between them, which unite mostly before they reach the margin. Lateral nerves anastomosing in 2-3 marginal nerves when they reach the margin. Many slender transverse veinlets between the lateral nerves. INFLORESCENCE: Peduncle ca. 1/2 to twice as long as the petiole, 6-43 cm long. Spadix nearly equalling to twice as long as the spathe, male part 2.5-4 x as long as the female part.
