General description:
Stem very high, scandent, robust, often 5-6 cm thick; upper branchlets 2 cm thick at apex, internodes slightly dark green. LEAVES: Petiole moderately thick, 25-30 cm long, with a 2-3 cm wide sheath, apex obtuse, ending 2-3 cm below the base of the blade; blade ovate or ovate-oblong, rounded towards the apex, the extreme apex shortly cuspidate, the base is truncate-rounded or subcordate, 25-25 cm long, 15-18 cm wide; Primary veins 10-14 spreading very openly, strongly prominent below. INFRUCTESCENCE: Peduncle very short. Spathe swollen halfway, acute at both ends, apex acuminate, yellowish green. Berries red.
