SUMMARY
Cataphylls up to 22 cm long. LEAVES: Petiole to 29 cm long, ventrally broadly canaliculate. Leaf blade coriaceous when dry, outline triangular, to 29 cm , 13.5-16 cm wide, apex acuminate, base sagittate-subhastate, anterior lobe lateral veins numerous, ca. 4-7 mm apart, strongly impressed and subequal above, all prominent below but primary lateral veins clearly 5 on both sides, II, III, IV and V veins gradually smaller; Posterior lobes ± oblong, 4.7-5.1 cm wide, apex rounded, separated by a sinus 7.2-7.8 cm deep in the middle and 2.1-3.8 cm wide, the lowest part naked for 1 cm on the outer side of the basal ribs. INFLORESCENCE: Peduncle probably solitary, 3 cm long (in specimen). Spathe 12 cm long, tube stout, somewhat inflated ca. 5 cm long. Spadix ca 10 cm long, pistillate part 3.5 cm long, staminate part ca. 1.5 cm long, basally sterile. Pistills cylindric, ovary apparently 2-locular, locules multiovulate, ovules superposed in each locule.
