SUMMARY
Stem terete, scandent, moderately robust. LEAVES: Petioles slender, 35-40 cm long, almost 1 cm thick at base, attenuate upwards, slightly canaliculate towards base; Blades thinly coriaceous, 28-30 cm long, 25-28 cm wide, ovate-oblong in outline, pinnatipartite; 5-6 lobes on each side, patent, narrowly lanceolate or linear lanceolate, apex acuminate, narrowing towards the base, the extreme bases joined together for 3-5 cm, intermediate lobes 14-17 cm long, up to 4 cm wide, a single primary lateral vein in each lobe running from the midrib, spreading at an obtuse or an almost right angle; the lower margin of the basal lobe coarsely few-lobed, separated by a very broad sinus; posterior ribs shortly denuded. INFLORESCENCE: Peduncles several in the upper axils, slender, elongate, 10-13 cm long, 4-5 mm thick. Spathe whitish-green, tube ovoid, ca. 3.5 cm long, convolute, 1.5-1.8 cm in diameter; blade barely differentiated from the tube, broadly oblong, apex shortly acuminate, equally long or somewhat longer than the tube. Spadix shortly stipitate, cylindric, obtuse; female zone 2.5-2.8 cm long, 8 mm thick, male zone almost 2 times longer than female zone, lower part equally thick, attenuating upwards. Pistil short, cylindric, 1.5-1.8 mm long, stigma round. Male flowers 3-5-androus.
