SUMMARY
Stem scandent, internodes 12-15 cm long, 1.5-2 cm thick. LEAVES: Petiole semiterete, 40-50 cm long; Blade subcoriaceous, subtriangular in outline, broadly sagittate, 35-40 cm long, up to 30 cm wide in the lower part, posterior lobes semioblong, obtuse, diverging, separated by a deeply campaniform sinus; Anterior lobe subtriangular, rounded towards the apex, the apex itself abruptly acuminate, ca. 21/2 times longer than the posterior lobes; posterior rib long denuded in the sinus, 15-18 cm long, 3 primary lateral veins emerging from each side of the posterior rib, one interlobe vein, 2-3 veins emerging from the anterior rib which is ca. 25 cm long. INFLORESCENCE: Peduncle elongate, 20-25 cm long. Spathe thick, fleshy, slightly constricted above the tube, tube 9-10 cm long, almost 5 cm wide, blade oblong, 7-8 cm long. Spadix thick, sessile, female zone cylindric, 5-6 cm long, 1.5 cm thick, male zone white, elongate-ovoid, 10-12 cm long. Pistil oblong, 4-6-locular, stigma orbicular.
