Philodendron ensifolium subsp. campanense (Araceae)
General description:
Internodes 0.4-1.1 cm wide, green to dark green, drying been and finely striate. LEAVES: Petiole (11.2-) 12.3-38.4 cm long, P/L=0.57-0.82. Lamina (18.3-) 21.0- 49.1 cm long, (6.2-) 7.2-15.6 cm wide, L/W=2.63-3.56 (-4.18), broadly lanceolate to (rarely) oblanceolate; primary lateral veins ca. 8-11+ per side (the distal ones obscure), usually with interprimaries. Cataphylls 9.0-21.0 cm long. INFLORESCENCES: Peduncle 3.1- 4.3 cm long, P/S=0.32-0.46.

Known from just 13 collections, all from Cerro Campana and the vicinity of El Valle de Antón in west-central Panama.
Habitat:
Tropical Wet Forest and Premontane Wet Forest life zones.
