Philodendron glanduliferum subsp. glanduliferum (Araceae)
Diagnostic description:
Petioles bearing conspicuous, green to whitish, trichome-like, terete scales on the geniculum or slightly below it, the geniculum noticeably swollen; blades with the sinus normally V-shaped, the edges not overlapping where they meet; cataphylls not noticeably 2-ribbed; Sierra de Juarez, Oaxaca State, Mexico.

Endemic to Mexico and Guatemala. In Mexico, it is known only from the Sierra de Juárez. It has been collected recently in Guatemala in the Sierra de las Minas in the province of Zacapa.
Habitat:
Bosque mesófilo.
