SUMMARY
A probably terrestrial herb. Stem apparently short. Petiole robust, 25 cm long (in specimen, but perhaps incomplete), adaxially broadly canaliculate. LEAF blade thick-coriaceous, broadly ovate, 32.5 cm long, 29.5 cm wide (at 10.5 cm above the base of the midrib), subcordate at the base, sinus open, 2 cm deep., broadly obtuse towards the apex, apex itself very shortly acuminate, adaxially glossy, primary lateral veins sulcate, 8-9 on each side, abaxially matte, midrib and primary lateral veins strongly raised, secondary and tertiary veins less raised. INFLORESCENCE unknown.
