SUMMARY
Hemi-epiphytic vine. Stem green, internodes 1.5-8 cm long. Prophyll 18-25.5 x 4-5 cm, narrowly triangular, pale green. LEAVES: Petiole 13.5-46 cm long. Leaf blade 20-45 x 5-15 cm, narrowly ovate to ovate-triangular, apex rounded to sub-acute, base sagittate with extrorse lobes, distinctly paler on lower surface, chartaceous; anterior division 25.5-32 x 13.5-23 cm, primary lateral veins 5-8 per side; posterior divisions 5-11 x 6-12 cm, acroscopic veins 2 per side, basiscopic vein 1 per side; basal veins 1-3 per side, with one free to base; posterior rib naked for 0.3-0.5 cm. INFLORESCENCE: 1 per floral sympodium; peduncle 3.5-4.5 cm long. Spathe 8.5-12.5 x 2.5-3 cm, ovate, weakly constricted, white outside, cream with dark red base inside. Spadix 7.5-12 cm long, male zone, 3-6 cm long, male sterile zone 0.5-1 cm long, female zone 3.5-4.5 cm long. Flowers: stamens 1-1.2 x 0.8-1 mm; intermediate staminodes 2-4 x 1-2 cm; gynoecium 1-1.5 x 0.8-1 mm, ovoid, cream, ovary with 5-6 locules, ovules 2-5 per locule, placentation sub-basal. INFRUCTESCENCE: Berries immature, 1.5-2.5 x 1-1.5 mm, obovoid; seed 0.8-1 mm long, fusiform.
