SUMMARY
LEAVES: Petioles slender, sheath rather broad, not reaching the base of the blade, flattened, apex deeply cut out. Leaf blade lanceolate, base obtuse or sub-rounded, apex abruptly long-cuspidate, 2 times longer than the petiole. Midrib slender. Ca. 8 veins on each side, very slender, interjected by barely more slender tertiary ('venastris') veins, patent. INFLORESCENCE: Peduncle short, spathe ca. 6.75 cm ('2 1/2 pollicaris'), cuspidate. Spadix slender. Ovary sub-4-locular, locules multi-ovulate.
