SUMMARY
Epiphytic. Stems slender, ascending, up to 50 cm long, internodes short, 1 - 2 cm long. LEAVES Cataphylls elongated, persistent, 4 - 8 cm long. Petiole sulcate above, 1.5 times longer than blade, blade subcoriaceous, oblong-cordiform, acuminate, ca. 15 cm long, 10 cm wide, with a 1 cm long acumen, primary lateral veins on each side with 2 basal veins running into the margin and 2 basal veins and 9 costal veins ascending and joining into a collective vein situated 2 – 3 mm from the margin. INFLORESCENCE Peduncle slender, shorter than the petiole. Spathe lanceolate, acute, ca. 4 cm long, 1 cm wide. Spadix shortly (3 mm) stipitate, slender, cylindric, 3.5 cm long, 3 mm thick. Tepals little more than 0.5 mm long. Ovary 0.5 mm long, semi-ovoid, style short, thick 2.5 – 3 mm (“dm”) long.
