Philodendron pteropus Mart. ex Engl.
SUMMARY
Stem scandent, slender rooting on both sides of the rather long internodes. LEAVES: Petiole 3-4.5 cm long, with a persistent broad sheath up to the base of the blade, truncate above. Blade thinly herbaceous, oblong-lanceolate, somewhat unequal-sided, one side ca. 1/5 wider, apex longly cuspidate-acuminate, the extreme base suddenly narrowed, 5-9 cm long, 3-3.8 cm wide, lateral veins numerous, running from the midrib at an acute angle, erect ascending, somewhat prominulent. INFLORESCENCE unknown.
