SUMMARY
Much-branched, canopy liana in primary forest, ascending to at least 30 m, occasionally descending to within 2 m of ground on pasture trees or edges; long-pendent branches leafless, or with reduced leaves. LEAVES: Petiole (6.3-) 7.2-13.2 (-20.3) cm long, P/L=(0.45-) 0.47-0.77 (-0.95); unsheathed portion (0.0-) 0.2-1.8 (-2.6) cm long. Lamina (12.3-) 14.6-27.1 cm long, (5.3-) 6.7-18.7 cm wide, L/W=(1.36-) 1.65-2.34 (-2.67), broadly cuneate (rarely) to truncate or (usually) rounded to subcordate basally (sometimes cordulate to cordate at petiole apex); abaxial laminar surface with occasional reticulate veins, rarely with occasional white stitching or obvious resin canals. INFLORESCENCE: Peduncles 1.7-3.4 cm long.
