Philodendron wullschlaegelii Schott
SUMMARY
LEAVES: Petiole terete, longer than midrib. Leaf blade cordate-sagittate, gradually acuminate towards the apex, sub-cuspidate, posterior lobes separated by a deep sinus which is narrowly parabolic at the base and sub-open, ('latere interiore subabrupte et latiuscule in costas posticas angustatis') posterior ribs barely denuded at the base. All veins thick, 3 on both sides of the anterior lobe, very widely spreading, soon disappearing; those on the inner sides of the posterior lobe inconspicuous, almost absent. INFLORESCENCE: Peduncle long. Spathe ca. 10.8-13.5 ('4-5 pollices') long, ...... Spadix: ('Spadicis feminea pars, maxima parte spathae dorso accretae vix 1/3 totius longitudinis. Ovary 5-7-locular. No staminodes above the ovaries.
