Arisaema lingyunense (Araceae)
Plants dioecious. Tuber subglobose, 3–7cm in diam., with many small tubercles. Leaf solitary, emerging after anthesis; petiole ca. 30cm, basal part forming pseudostem; leaf blade 3foliolate; leaflets with petiolules 1–1.5cm; central leaflet rhombic, ca. 24 × 14cm; lateral leaflets oblique, outer side often ca. 2 × as wide as inner side, ca. 20 × 13cm, base cuneate at inner side, rounded at outer side. Peduncle shorter than petioles, ca. 25cm × 5mm. Spathe purple with white lines; tube funnel-form, ca. 8 × 2.5cm, without lamella inside; limb incurved, galeate, lateral margins elongated into broad wings, with whitish reticulate networks on both sides, ca. 20 × 20cm, base constricted, apex rounded with an acumen 3–4cm. Spadix unisexual; female zone conic, ca. 3 × 2cm; ovary cylindric, ca. 5mm; ovules 2, basal, erect, fusiform; style short; stigma disciform; male zone cylindric, ca. 3 cm × 9mm; synandria of 2 or 3 stamens; anthers stipitate, dehiscing by horseshoe-shaped slit; appendix purple, flagellate, ca. 44cm (female) to 143cm (male) in total, proximal 13–14cm subcylindric, ca. 1.5cm in diam., base attenuate, not truncate, stipe ca. 1.8cm × 8mm (female), ca. 4 × 3mm (male), distal filiform part ca. 30cm (female) to 130cm, pendulous. Berries red.
