Anthurium blanchetianum Engl.
SUMMARY
Caudex ? LEAVES: Petiole shorter than blade, 35 cm long, shortly sheathed, sulcate above, geniculum ca. 1.5 cm long. Blade subcoriaceous, yellowish green, ovate-oblong, but at the very base contracted into a wedge, apex acute, 35 cm long, 18 cm wide, primary lateral veins on both sides ca. 12, arising from the midrib at ca. 60 deg., somewhat arched-ascending, joined into a collective vein situated 7 – 8 mm from the margin. INFLORESCENCE: Peduncle ca. 40 cm long, 5 mm thick. Spathe linear-lanceolate, shortly decurrent, 7 – 8 cm long, 1.2 cm wide, shortly cuspidate. Spadix with a stipe 1 – 1.5 cm long, 10 cm long, in fruit 1 cm thick in lower part. Tepals 3 – 4 times longer than wide. Ovary ovoid.
