SUMMARY
Scandent. LEAVES: Blade papyraceous, 60 cm long, 35 cm wide, cordate-ovate, 1.5 times longer than wide, posterior lobes 6-7 times shorter than anterior lobe, subsemi-orbicular, separated by a wide campaniform sinus, anterior lobe gradually narrowed by a slightly extrorsely curved line, primary lateral veins of the posterior lobes 4, fused into basal ribs which are denuded for 2 cm, slightly curved and running into the margin, inter-lobe primary lateral veins 2, curving upwards near the margin and ending there, the innermost together with the primary lateral veins of the midrib of the anterior lobe ca. 20, spreading at an angle of 45°, joined into a collective vein 2-3 mm distant from the margin. INFLORESCENCE: Peduncle slender. Spathe linear-lanceolate, long-acuminate, ca. 17-20 cm long, 1.5 cm wide. Spadix sessile, 20-25 cm long, 7 mm thick below, narrowing upwards, myosuroid, reddish. Tepals 1.5 times longer than wide, 2 mm long. Ovary ovoid, contracted into a short style. INFRUCTESCENCE unseen.
