SUMMARY
Climbing epiphyte, stem 5 m long. LEAVES: Petiole ca. 50 cm long, geniculum 3.5 cm long. Leaf blade cordate-ovate, acuminate at the apex, 42 cm long from the petiole insertion to the apex, 32 cm wide in the lower part, posterior lobes subsemi-orbicular, situated at almost right angles to one another, ca. 9 cm long, 15 - 16 cm wide, basal veins not joined together, prominent; the other lateral veins 4 - 5 on each side, ascending from the midrib, prominent abaxially, joining in an inframarginal collective vein. INFLORESCENCES: Peduncles ca. 40 cm long, robust. Spathe broadly oblong, clasping at the base, erect, ca. 17 cm long, 4.2 - 4.5 cm wide, pale green. Spadix sessile, in fruit 14 cm long, 2.5 cm wide. INFRUCTESCENCES: Berry red, crowned by a subclavate, slightly horned style 3 - 4 mm long.
