SUMMARY
Caudicles (small stems) climbing, internodes 4 - 6 cm long. Cataphylls covering the internodes, 7 - 10 cm long, eventually decomposing to resemble matted hair. LEAVES: Petiole with a long sheath, ca. 30 cm long. Blade subcoriaceous, oblong-cordate, 25 - 30 cm long, ca. 16 cm wide, with acumen 1.5 - 2 cm long, posterior lobes semi-ovate, very slightly introrse, 6 - 7 cm long, anterior lobe gradually narrowed, rather long-acuminate, primary and secondary veins and finer veins strongly prominent below, primary lateral veins of the midrib of the anterior lobe with 9 ascending on each side, and 2 basal ones, all joined into a submarginal collective vein, primary lateral veins of the posterior lobes 4, arching, joined at the base into basal ribs and running out into the margin. INFLORESCENCES: Peduncle longer than petiole, 30 cm long. Spathe linear-lanceolate, ca. 12 cm long, 12 mm wide. Spadix stipitate for 1 cm, cylindric, 14 cm long when in flower, 6 mm thick. Tepals barely 1.5 mm long. Ovary oblong-ovoid, conoid above, 1.5 mm long.
