SUMMARY
Stem terrestrial (according to collector, but is it always?). LEAVES: Petiole 50 - 60 cm long, a little striate (when dry), blade papery, abaxially minutely pulverulent on the veins, puctulate with numerous crystalliferous cells, striolate with raphide-bearing cells, broadly ovate-triangular, acute at the apex, anterior lobe ca. 50 cm long, 35 cm wide basally, posterior lobes separated by a parabolic arc, semi-elliptic, 15 cm long, 13 - 15 cm wide, primary lateral veins both large and small are patent and very numerous, abaxially primaries, secondaries and intermediates prominent, joined into a submarginal vein, primary veins of the posterior lobes strongly prominent, near the sinus joined into denuded basal ribs. Spadix ca. 1.5 cm wide.
