Anthurium flavidum (Araceae)
General description:
Stem climbing. LEAVES: Petiole terete, 35 - 45 cm long, pale green, geniculum 2 cm long. Leaf blade subcoriaceous, bright green, subtriangular-ovate, 25 - 40 cm long, 14 - 20 cm wide, posterior lobes retrorse, short, separated by a very wide sinus, 4 cm long, basal primary lateral veins 3 on each side, joined into a basal rib shortly denuded in the sinus, midrib primary lateral veins 12 - 14, ascending and slightly curved. INFLORESCENCE: Peduncle 12 - 15 cm long, subterete, pale green. Spathe oblong, abruptly cuspidate, ca. 7 cm long, 2 cm wide. Spadix subsessile, obtuse, not attenuate, 5.5 cm long, 6 mm thick, pale violet.
