SUMMARY
Internodes about 1 cm long. LEAVES: Petiole compressed, canaliculate above, equalling half the blade, about 1 dm long; geniculum 1 cm long; blades coriaceous, lanceolate, narrowed cuneately from the upper third toward the base, briefly acuminate at the apex, more than 3 dm long, 9-10 cm wide at the highest point, primary lateral veins many, slender, 6-7 mm apart, ascending, joined in a collective vein along the margin (about 1/6 of way in from the side). INFLORESCENCE: Peduncle longer than petiole, 1.5-1.7 dm long; spathe linear, equalling 1/2 or 1/3 of the spadix in length, 5-6 cm long, 1 cm wide; spadix sessile, elongate, cylindrical, 1.5-2 dm long, 5-6 mm thick in flower; tepals almost 4 mm wide, 2 mm long; pistil about 4-5 mm long, 3 mm thick; ovary ovoid, attenuate conically beyond the tepals. INFRUCTESCENCE: Berries ovoid, 5-7 mm long, 5 mm thick.
