SUMMARY
Stems small ('caudiculi'), climbing, internodes ca. 1-2 cm long. Cataphylls 4-9 cm long, lanceolate. LEAVES: Petiole 15-20 cm long. Blade ca. 18 cm long, 17 cm wide at base, subcoriaceous, somewhat glossy above, hastiform, anterior lobe ca. 14 cm long, 4 cm wide, linear, narrowing above and long acuminate, posterior lobes 5-6 cm long, 3 cm wide, narrowly oblong, strongly divergent, ca. 8 primary lateral veins of the anterior lobe arising from the midrib, ascending and with the basal veins joined into a collective vein a little distant from the margin, basal veins of the posterior lobes 4, patent and retrorse, joined into basal ribs set at 120º to each other and long-denuded in the sinus for 2 cm. INFLORESCENCE: Peduncle 10 cm long. Spathe 7 cm long, 2 cm wide, broadly lanceolate, cuspidate, coppery. Spadix with 1 cm long stipe, 5 cm long, 5-6 mm thick, cylindric, yellow-green.
