SUMMARY
Tuber irregularly elongate, 2–3.5 × 4–8 cm, branching; petiole 20–60 cm × 8–10 mm, smooth, uniformly pale to olive-green or pale to darker rich reddish brown. Leaf solitary; leaf blade 20–60 cm, with relatively few leaflets, rachises winged nearly to the base; leaflets elongate-elliptic, 10–26 × 5–10 cm, acuminate, adaxially deep rich green with a narrow bright lilac reddish margin. Inflorescence solitary, long pedunculate; peduncle 22–30 × 7–0.8 cm, smooth, pale reddish brown at the base, upwards grading to pale green; spathe erect, base and limb separated by a shallow constriction, 7.5–12 × 7–10 cm, limb concave, apex acute, margins involute, exterior base pale green, interior base whitish green, exterior and interior limb creamy, base within densely verrucate, verrucae irregularly conical, often secondarily verrucate at the apex; spadix sessile, longer than spathe, 17.5–26 cm long; pistillate flower zone cylindrical, 1.3–2 cm × 9–11 mm, flowers slightly distant; ovaries depressed, orbicular, 2.5 × 1.5 mm high, pale green; style thick, 0.8 × 1.3 mm, dilating towards the apex, creamy; stigma disciform, 2 × 0.4 mm, entire but with a central depression, surface whitish, densely verruculate; staminate flower zone fusiform-cylindrical, base and apex constricted, 4–5 × 1.3–1.5 cm, flowers congested; staminate flowers 3–5-androus, creamy; connective indistinct, very pale green; appendix elongate conical, 12–19 cm × 17–18 mm, base constricted, apex sharply acute, surface shallowly rugulose, creamy. Fruit ovoid, smooth, white.
