SUMMARY
Stem obliquely ascending, short, ca. 50 cm long. LEAVES: Petiole nearly 90 cm long, geniculum 2 cm long, sulcate adaxially, basal sheath 5-6 cm long. Blade subcoriaceous, ovate-cordate, 1.5 times longer than broad, ca. 65 cm long, 40 cm wide, posterior lobes semi-ovate, separated by a broadly bell-shaped sinus, 4 times shorter than anterior lobe, anterior lobe narrowing upwards by a curved line, strongly obtuse, primary lateral veins of the posterior lobes on each side joined into basal ribs denuded in the sinus for 2-3 cm, arching upwards near the margin and running out into the margin, one interlobe vein patent and the other parallel to ca. 17 primary lateral veins of the midrib, which are curved-patent and joined into a collective vein only 1.5 mm distant from the margin. INFLORESCENCE: Peduncle ca. 50 cm long, sulcate adaxially. Spathe coriaceous, oblong, acute, erect, green, 14 cm long, 5 cm wide. Spadix sessile, cylindric, brown, 15 cm long, 2 cm thick basally, somewhat narrowed upwards. Tepals 4.5 mm long, 1.5 mm wide. Pistils elongate-cylindric, 4.5 mm long, 1.5 mm thick.
