SUMMARY
Stems small, climbing up to 1m long, internodes elongated. Cataphylls 15 cm long. LEAVES: Petiole sulcate adaxially, 30 cm long. Blade subcoriaceous, ovate-cordate, 35 cm long, 20 cm wide, posterior lobes semi-ovate, ca. 6 cm long, anterior lobe 4 times longer, gradually narrowing, shortly acuminate, 4 basal primary lateral veins joined into not very long-denuded basal ribs, 4 free and arcuately ascending, primary lateral veins of the midrib on both sides ca. 10, arcuately ascending, arising from the midrib at ca. 60°, 1-2 cm apart, nearly all except the 2-3 lowermost joined into a collective vein somewhat remote from the margin. INFLORESCENCE: Peduncle half as long as petiole, 15 cm long. Spathe linear-lanceolate, acuminate, 7-8 cm long, 1 cm wide. Spadix subsessile, myosuroid, brown, 10 cm long, ca. 5 mm thick. Tepals barely 1 mm long. Stamen filaments broadly linear and a little longer than the anthers. Ovary subovoid, 0.5 mm long, contracted into an equally long style.
