SUMMARY
Stem shortly climbing, internodes 3-3.5 cm long, 7-8 mm thick. Cataphylls lanceolate, elongate, up to 15 cm long. LEAVES: Petiole multi-sulcate, longer than blade, 20-25 cm long, geniculum 2 cm long. Blade pendent, subcoriaceous, oblong-cordate, 20-25 cm long, 12-13 cm wide, posterior lobes semi-ovate, 3 times shorter than anterior lobe, 6 cm long, 5 cm wide, introrse, forming an oblong sinus, 5 of the primary lateral veins of the posterior lobes, joined into short basal ribs denuded in the sinus, the 2 others and the 7-8 primary lateral veins of the midrib ascending, and joined into a collective vein somewhat distant from the margin. INFLORESCENCE: Peduncle 10 cm long or longer. Spathe broadly lanceolate, ca. 8-9 cm long. Spadix 5-6 cm long, 5 mm thick, purplish green.
