SUMMARY
Geophyte herb growing on rocky soil. Stem tuberous, yellow-fleshed, deeply buried in soil, 3 - 4 3 4 - 5 cm. Petiole green or marbled, 29 - 82 3 0.2 - 0.8 cm. Leaf peltate, and cordate or sagittate, ovate in outline, 14 - 28 3 11.5 - 19 cm, lamina green, anterior division 10 - 12 3 13 - 14 cm, 3 - 4 primary lateral ribs per side, arising in an angle of 60 - 80°, fusing in a collective nerve 0.5 - 0.8 cm from leaf margin, posterior division 9 - 14 x 14 - 19 cm, acroscopic nerves 3 - 4, basioscopic nerves 2 - 3. Inflorescence solitary, arising before the leaves, peduncle erect, green, 16 - 24 x 0.4 - 0.6 cm, spathe 6 - 7 cm long, tube 2.8 - 3.5 x 2 - 3 cm, green at both surfaces, lamina 2 - 2.832cm, white at both surfaces. Spadix 4.7 - 5 cm long, fertile male portion white 2.9 - 3 x 0.8 cm, sterile male portion white, moderately dimorphic, 0.5 - 1 x 0.6 - 0.7 cm, feminine portion whitish green, 0.9 - 1.1 x 0.6 - 0.9 cm. Gynoecium 1.5 - 2 x 1 mm, style slightly broader and slightly shorter than the ovary but not conspicuously discoid or coherent, stigma brush-like, ovary 1 - 2-ovulated, unilocular, ovules inserting at basal portion of ovary wall, synandrium prismatic, 2 - 5-androus, 2 - 3 3 2 - 3 mm, staminodes more or less elongate along inflorescence axis. Pollen grain shed in monads. Infructescence unknown in ripe state.
