SUMMARY
Erect, internodes abbreviated. LEAVES: Petiole more-or-less terete, rather dark green, geniculum 2 cm long, 5 mm thick, deeply canaliculate adaxially, as long as blade or longer, ca. 15-20 cm long, 4-5 mm thick. Blade coriaceous, green adaxially, bright green abaxially, somewhat glossy, oblong-lanceolate, narrowed to more or less the same degree at both ends, subacute to obtuse at the base, acute at the apex, 23-25 cm long, 8-10 cm wide, primary lateral veins on each side ca. 12-15, patent, ca. 2 cm distant from each other, adaxially strongly embedded, abaxially a little prominent, joined into a collective vein ca. 1 cm from margin, secondary and finer veins also embedded. INFLORESCENCE: Peduncle a little shorter than the leaf, ca. 45 cm long. Spathe linear, ca. 7-9 cm long, 12-13 mm wide, gradually acuminate at the apex, shortly decurrent on the peduncle. Spadix shortly stipitate, cylindric, twice as long as spathe, 8-12 cm long, 5-6 mm thick. Tepals nearly twice as wide as long, ca. 1.2 mm long, 2 mm wide. Ovary depressed-globose, purplish at the apex, 2 mm long.
