SUMMARY
Epiphytic or terrestrial; stem scandent, about 2-5 dm long, 2-2.5 cm diam.; internodes short; cataphylls decidedly elongate, slightly thick, 1.5-2 dm long. LEAVES: Petiole narrowly canaliculate above, a little longer than blade, 4-5 dm [40 - 50 cm] long, short-geniculate; blades rigid, yellow-green, oblong, cordate at the base, about 4.5 dm [45 cm] long, 2 dm [20 cm]wide; posterior lobes very short, narrowed from lower third upward in an arcuate line and narrowly cuspidate; primary lateral veins about 20 pairs 1.5-2 cm apart, robust, spreading arcuately at a 90 degree angle, joined in a collective vein a little away from the margin; basal veins, the 3 lowermost arcuate, approaching the margin. INFLORESCENCE: Peduncle about 4 dm [40 cm] long; spathe linear, acuminate, about 8 cm long, 1.5 cm wide, from copper becoming yellow; spadix gradually tapered, a little longer than the spathe, 8 cm long, 6 mm diam., yellow-green; tepals about 2 mm long, 1.5 mm wide; pistil 2.5 mm long, 1.5 mm diam.; style briefly conoid.
