Anthurium oxybelium Schott
SUMMARY
LEAVES: Petiole slender, ca. 35 cm long, thickened at the base. Leaf blade elongate-subsagittate, more than twice as long as wide, 23 cm long, 8 cm wide basally, posterior lobes retrorse, 4 times shorter than anterior lobe, semi-oblong, obtuse, retrorse, separated by obtuse, narrowly oblong sinus, running into the anterior lobe with a nearly straight margin, anterior lobe abruptly and narrowly cuspidate, primary lateral veins of the posterior lobes 3 on each side, joined into short basal ribs, strongly curved, running into margin, interlobe subparallel with the 7 - 8 midrib veins on each side, joining with them into a collective vein 3 - 4 mm distant from the margin. INFLORESCENCE: Peduncle slender, ca. 22 cm long. Spathe patent, oblong-lanceolate, clasping at the base, 4.5 cm long, 1 cm wide. Spadix with 1.2 cm long stipe, 3.5 cm long, 5 - 6 mm thick.
