Anthurium nanospadix Engl.
SUMMARY
Stem climbing, internodes 1.5 - 2 cm long, 5 mm thick. Cataphylls lanceolate, 2.4 - 4 cm long. LEAVES: Petiole 16 - 18 cm long, slender, barely 2 mm thick. Blade herbaceous, ovate-cordate, barely 1.5 times as long as wide, acumen ca. 1.5 cm long, 10 - 12 cm long, 7 cm wide basally, weakly cordate at base, basal primary lateral veins 3, arising from the base, the lowermost soon running into the margin, the second ascending and reaching up above the middle of the blade, the innermost 1 - 1.5 cm distant from the margin, joining with the 5 - 6 primary lateral veins of the midrib which are 4 - 7 mm apart. INFLORESCENCE: Peduncle 7 - 10 cm long, slender. Spathe 1 cm long, ca. 3 mm wide, with a 1 mm long apiculum. Spadix with a stipe 2 mm long, the spadix itself 1 cm long, 2 mm thick.
