SUMMARY
Profusely branched, scandent vine or shrub, climbing to 4-25 m on tree trunks, the branches horizontally spreading. Internodes 0.2-0.7 (-1.0) cm wide. LEAVES: Petiole (5.2-) 6.4-10.7 (-12.8) cm long, P/L=0.41-0.71. Lamina (11.0-) 12.1-18.0 (-22.5) cm long, (2.0-) 2.8-8.1 (-9.0) cm wide, L/W=(2.07-) 2.61-5.71 (-6.90), very narrowly to narrowly lanceolate or oblanceolate to broadly lanceolate or elliptical to ovate, the acumen ca. (0.8-) 1.9-2.4 cm long, narrowly or broadly cuneate to rounded basally (very rarely cordulate, especially on young shoots). INFLORESCENCES: Peduncle 1.3-2.1 cm long; spathe 8.4-12.7 cm long, 1.2-2.3 cm wide. Spadix (6.7-) 7.9-10.1 cm long; fertile female portion 0.7-1.0 cm wide (to 2.3+ cm in fruit), F/S=0.25-0.39; fertile male flowers 1.4-1.5 mm long; sterile male flowers 1.6-2.1 mm long; female flowers 1.5-2.1 mm long. INFRUCTESCENCES: Seeds 1.0-1.3 mm long, 0.3-0.4 mm wide.
